Victoria Mulligan is a future-focused strategist based in New York City. She has a knack for bringing humanity to data, telling stories, and busting myths (probably her favorite).

It all began with a college market research class. From there, a market research internship. Those would be the building blocks for what propelled Victoria into what she likes to call “the career of curiosity” — learning about why people do what they do.

Driven by authenticity, honesty, and fun, Victoria prides herself in up-leveling every piece of work she touches. As a researcher and strategist, her goals include balancing out her skillset with more qualitative research and brand positioning analysis.

In addition to her primary skillset, Victoria’s work has been presented to upwards of 300 attendees, published in trade publications and internal marketing conferences, and recognized by C-suite for a record of continuous professional development leading to outstanding performance in thought leadership and strategic thinking, resulting in the Carat Diamond Award.

Principles she lives by

The best way out is always through

Grit, hard work, and perseverance are the qualities she claims most earnestly. When there’s a will, there’s a way.

Make improvements, not excuses

Constructive criticism is not only welcomed, it is wanted. Victoria seeks continuous improvement with humility and accountability.

Curiosity nixed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back

Searching for answers can certainly lead one down the rabbit hole, but Victoria believes the newfound understanding is always worth the pursuit.

She also loves to read. Here are some of the books she’s read that have shaped the way she views the world and the people that live in it.
